This role has a definite duration till December 31, 2026.
 
General Qualifications
  • University degree in engineering.
  •  Minimum five years of combined experience in aircraft maintenance and logistics of aerospace technical/maintenance systems in a sizeable civilian or military organisation.
  • Experience and familiarity with aspects of requirements capture and specification of aircraft systems, preferably Uncrewed Air Vehicles (UAVs).
  • Experience in complex multi-disciplined projects in a large multi-national contract environment.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills and the ability to work well in a team and with commercial contractors while exercising personal authority in the field of activity.
  • Ability to multi-task, manage time and work effectively under pressure while producing high-quality products under short-notice deadlines.
  • Ability to develop resourceful and effective solutions to problems (including personnel), focus on team performance goals and track metrics to measure performance improvements.
  • Knowledge of contract administration, Logistics Principles, Supply Techniques and Procedures.
  • Sound digital literacy with experience in using office automation systems and software applications, e.g. Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint). 
Specific Qualifications
 
  • Thorough knowledge in aircraft maintenance and logistics.
  • Knowledge and experience with US FMS processes.
  • Minimum five years of experience in military or civilian aircraft programmes, aircraft systems and/or associated equipment, on single-engine aircraft types, preferably UAV.
  • Experience in the negotiation and administration of contracts with servicing contractors.
  • Proficiency in technical, administrative and business writing and in the use of aircraft/equipment Technical Data (TD) publications.
  • A recognised project management certification [e.g. PRINCE 2™ Practitioner, Project Management Professional (PMP)].
  • Knowledge of SAP would be an asset.

LANGUAGE QUALIFICATIONS
  • NATO's two official languages are English and French. The work of this post is mainly conducted in English, therefore fluency in that language is essential and working knowledge of French is desirable
